Creating Your First Trip
This guide will walk you through the process of creating your first trip in TourPilot.
Step 1: Create a New Trip
- Click Trips in the sidebar
- Click the New Trip button
- Fill in the basic information:
- Trip name - e.g., "Italy - Tuscany 2024"
- Start date and End date
- Description (optional)
Step 2: Add Participants
After creating the trip, you can add participants:
- Go to the Participants tab
- Click Add Participant
- Enter participant details:
- First and last name
- Email (optional)
- Phone (optional)
- Document number (optional)
Import Participants
You can also import a list of participants from an Excel or CSV file.
Step 3: Plan the Schedule
- Go to the Schedule tab
- For each day of the trip, add events:
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner
- Sightseeing
- Transportation
- Free time
Step 4: Add Documents
In the Documents tab, you can add:
- Detailed trip program
- Participant lists
- Booking confirmations
- Maps and guides
Step 5: Assign a Guide
- Go to the Guides tab
- Select a guide from the list or add a new one
- The guide will receive access to the trip in the mobile app
