Creating Your First Trip

This guide will walk you through the process of creating your first trip in TourPilot.

Step 1: Create a New Trip

  1. Click Trips in the sidebar
  2. Click the New Trip button
  3. Fill in the basic information:
    • Trip name - e.g., "Italy - Tuscany 2024"
    • Start date and End date
    • Description (optional)

Step 2: Add Participants

After creating the trip, you can add participants:

  1. Go to the Participants tab
  2. Click Add Participant
  3. Enter participant details:
    • First and last name
    • Email (optional)
    • Phone (optional)
    • Document number (optional)
Import Participants

You can also import a list of participants from an Excel or CSV file.

Step 3: Plan the Schedule

  1. Go to the Schedule tab
  2. For each day of the trip, add events:
    • Breakfast, lunch, dinner
    • Sightseeing
    • Transportation
    • Free time

Step 4: Add Documents

In the Documents tab, you can add:

  • Detailed trip program
  • Participant lists
  • Booking confirmations
  • Maps and guides

Step 5: Assign a Guide

  1. Go to the Guides tab
  2. Select a guide from the list or add a new one
  3. The guide will receive access to the trip in the mobile app
