Working Offline

The TourPilot app also works without an internet connection.

Features Available Offline

In offline mode, you can:

  • ✅ View participant list
  • ✅ Check schedule
  • ✅ View documents (previously downloaded)
  • ✅ Make notes
  • ✅ Mark participant attendance

Offline Mode Limitations

In offline mode, you cannot:

  • ❌ Sync new data from Backoffice
  • ❌ Download new documents
  • ❌ Send notifications

Preparing for Offline Work

Before departure:

  1. Sync data - make sure all data is up to date
  2. Download documents - open documents that will be needed offline
  3. Check space - make sure you have enough space on your device

Downloading Documents Offline

  1. Open the trip
  2. Go to Documents
  3. Tap the download icon for each document

or

  1. Open trip settings
  2. Tap Download All Offline

Changes in Offline Mode

Changes made offline are saved locally and sent to the server when the connection is restored.

Change Queue

You can check pending changes in Settings → Sync Status.

Offline Mode Indicator

When the device is offline, you'll see:

  • A crossed-out ☁️ icon in the top bar
  • "Offline mode" message when trying to sync

Going Back Online

When connection is restored:

  1. The app automatically detects the connection
  2. Sync of pending changes begins
  3. New data from the server is downloaded
